Since joining the firm, Ms. Dawes has represented individuals, small and large corporations, and government entities. Juan L. Flores

Mr. Flores is a Partner with the firm. His practice focuses on trial work in the personal injury, products liability and contract areas. Mr. Flores has formal training in such diverse fields as firefighting, plumbing, pipefitting, welding and metal work, high pressure pipe welding, asbestos removal, carpentry, sheetmetal work, automotive mechanics, and computer programming and systems design. Mr. Flores was born in Cd. Juarez, Chih. Mexico on July 7, 1958. He speaks, reads and writes the Spanish Language. His educational accomplishments include an A.A. and A.A.S. in Computer Programming from Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, TX. He attended New Mexico State University (B.A. with Honors, 1986) and the University of New Mexico School of Law (J.D., 1990). More....



Sara N. Sanchez

Ms. Sanchez graduated from Harvard Law School in 2001, and then served as law clerk to the Hon. William M. Nickerson of the United States District Court in Maryland. Beginning in 2002, she served as a trial attorney for the Public Defender Service of Washington, D.C., where she represented clients in felony and juvenile cases, from arraignment through trial and sentencing. She then worked as an associate at the law firm of Manatt, Phelps and Phillips in Los Angeles, California, where she represented individual and corporate clients in connection with federal and state criminal proceedings, grand jury subpoenas, and criminal and regulatory investigations. Ms. Sanchez is an active member of the New Mexico Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and sits on the Criminal Justice Act Panel for the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Ms. Sanchez also has an active civil litigation practice in the areas of employment law, construction law, and general commercial litigation. More....



Luis G. Stelzner

Mr. Stelzner’s practice is concentrated primarily in the areas of litigation and mediation.  He holds an AV preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America and in Southwest Super Lawyers as one of the top 25 lawyers in New Mexico for 2007 through 2010.  Since going into private practice in 1985, Mr. Stelzner has litigated in a wide variety of subject matter areas, including personal injury litigation, mass tort and complex commercial cases, class actions, employment law, insurance coverage and bad faith, commercial litigation, products liability, white collar criminal defense and redistricting.  He has conducted more than 2,000 mediations, including contract and other commercial disputes, employment claims, products liability claims, insurance coverage and bad faith, medical and legal malpractice, natural resources, oil and gas, real estate, and personal injury and wrongful death cases.  More...



Robert P. Warburton

Mr. Warburton was born in 1952 in Concordia, Kansas. He graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame with a major in government in 1975. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as an infantry officer in the United States Army, graduating with honors from the Infantry Officer basic course and U.S. Army Ranger School at Fort Benning, Georgia. He attended Georgetown University on an Army graduate fellowship, earning a masters degree in Russian Area Studies in 1977. Prior to starting his legal career, Mr. Warburton served four years in Europe as a mechanized infantry platoon leader, company commander and aide-de-camp to the Assistant Division Commander for the Third Infantry Division. After leaving the service, he worked for five years as an Assistant Director of Admissions and International Studies at Central University of Iowa before attending law school. Mr. Warburton earned his J.D. degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1990, again graduating with honors, including Order of the Coif and Phi Kappa Phi. More....



Nann M. Winter

Nann Winter has been advising and representing public agencies and local governments since 1987, and she is certified as a Specialist in Local Government Law by the New Mexico Board of Legal Specialization. During the course of her legal career, Ms. Winter has provided representation to dozens of local governments on utility-related and right-of-way matters, including eminent domain, franchise agreements, public improvement districts, special assessment districts, procurements, and also concerning issues of statutory and constitutional powers.
