Juan L. Flores

Mr. Flores is a Shareholder and founding member of the Firm. His practice focuses on trial work in commercial construction, contract, water and wastewater systems, electric power systems, product liability, employment, and personal injury areas. Mr. Flores has formal training in such diverse fields as firefighting, plumbing, pipefitting, welding, high pressure pipe welding, metal work, asbestos removal, carpentry, sheet-metal work, automotive mechanics, and computer programming and systems design. Mr. Flores is general counsel for Catholic Charities, the Archdiocese of Santa Fe and DPV Electric.

Mr. Flores has litigated cases in diverse areas including commercial and residential construction, personal injury, passenger, recreational, and heavy vehicle operation and design, water rights, real estate disputes, imminent domain, computer systems, trademark infringement, breach of lease and rental agreements. He has also represented several municipalities regarding the acquisition of electric distribution systems and/or disputes involving power purchase agreements.

 Mr. Flores was selected as a 2013 and 2014 Southwest SuperLawyer, and 2020 Lawyers of Distinction, all in the field of construction litigation.

Mr. Flores speaks, reads, and writes the Spanish Language. His educational accomplishments include an A.A. and A.A.S. in Computer Programming from Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, TX. He attended New Mexico State University (B.A. with Honors, 1986) and the University of New Mexico School of Law (J.D., 1990).
